You do not need to complete this online enrollment form if:

• Your student is currently attending an ABCUSD school. Log into your Aeries Parent Portal account  to view the current school information and transitioning (next) school for your student.

• Your student is currently attending an ABC USD school and you accepted another ABC USD school via the Schools of Choice (SOC). Do not complete this process, your student's record will be transferred. 

• If your child is not Transitional Kindergarten age. Your child may be eligible for the Headstart and/or State Preschool Programs, for more information please visit the ABCUSD Child Development website.

 

THE FOLLOWING ONLINE ENROLLMENT PROCESS IS FOR NEW ABC UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT RESIDENTS.

ABC Unified School District (ABCUSD) new student enrollment via Aeries allows you to begin the process of registering your student at ABCUSD. This process is for new students attending ABCUSD for the first time or for students that have been absent from the district for more than one year.

NEW ABC USD RESIDENTS ACCEPTED THROUGH SCHOOLS OF CHOICE FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

If your student is a resident of the district and is currently not attending an ABC USD school you must complete this process. Please note that all applications are initially assigned to the school of residence. Your student's application will be transferred to the School of Choice (SOC) site, you are not required to complete nor submit any additional permits. 

INTER-DISTRICT PERMITS 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR (Out-of-District students)

Students interested in registering for the current school year of 2024-2025 should contact the Child Welfare and Attendance office.  Please visit their website for more information. 

INTER-DISTRICT PERMITS 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR (Out-of-District students)

New Inter-district permits that are not currently attending an ABC school and will begin in the Fall 2025-2026 school year, in grades TK - 12th. You must first complete the inter-district permit process with the Child Welfare and Attendance office prior to completing this online enrollment process. Priority is not on a first come, first served basis. All permits will be processed by the ABC Unified School District (ABCUSD) Child Welfare and Attendance Office beginning March 13, 2025. Please visit their website for more information. 

REQUIREMENTS

During the online process you must upload/provide the following enrollment verification requirements electronically. It is recommended that you scan and save these documents to your device before starting the process:

• Residency Verification - click for full list of acceptable documentation (2 forms of utility bills preferred) 
• Age verification 
  • Certified copy of birth certificate or a statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth
  • A duly attested baptism certificate
  • A passport
• Parent/Guardian Government issued ID showing name and current address
• Immunization records (please see immunization requirements for all students, 7th graders require a current TDAP immunization)
• Health and Development form (this form is required for all new students grade TK-12th, click on the form name to download)
• If you need assistance with providing documentation to determine district residency, please contact the school site for acceptable documentation. You may also visit the district's website for additional information.

 

Upon completion of the online process, you will be contacted on the procedures of submitting the following original documents to your assigned school of residence: (click on the form name to download)

• Oral Health Assessment form (required for first time Kinder or first time 1st grade only)

To begin the enrollment process please click on the Enroll A New Student button below.  If you have previously used this platform (ABCUSD online enrollment process ) you do not have to create another account, simply log-in. To begin this process you must have a valid email address to create your online enrollment account. The online process will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. *All entries must be made using proper upper and lower case, including legal birth given names.
